- 1979:
- Vincent Gabriel O'Brien sets up VG and MJ O'Brien's Dispensing Opticians on Wrawby Street, Brigg.
- 1990:
- Jacqui Edwards joins the practice and goes on to become Manager.
- 2000:
- Anne Pope joins the practice as receptionist.
- 2003:
- Vincent O'Brien retires to Spain. Sheeraz A Janjua takes over as Director Optometrist. Practice renamed O'Brien's Opticians.
- 2004:
- Lindsay Vickery joins the practice as student Dispensing Optician.
- 2005:
- Jane Palmer joins the practice as Optical assistant.
- 2006:
- Practice reception and dispensing areas are refurbished.
- 2007:
- Lindsay Vickery leaves for Spain. Gemma Chelton Joins as Optical assistant.
- 2009:
- O'Brien's celebrates 30 years with refurbishment of the eye examination suite and practice front.
- 2010:
- Anne Pope retires after 10 years service. Val Walter joins as Optical assistant.
- 2011:
- June Lockham joins as Optical assistant.
